PHOTOS: Riverside Panther Night 2022

Riverside School District held its annual Panther Night Thursday evening at Riverside Memorial Stadium. The program included the introduction of the Panthers fall sports programs and the Riverside marching band. Across town, Ellwood City held its annual Pie Festival at Lincoln High School. The LHS marching band performed selections from their 2022 pre-game and halftime shows and all Ellwood City fall sports teams were recognized. Lincoln High School Pie Festival, Riverside Panther Night This Week!

Both Ellwood City and Riverside school districts will kick off their respective back to school seasons with community events on Thursday, August 25th. Ellwood City will host its annual Lincoln High School Marching Blue Band Pie Festival at the high school gymnasium. Doors for the Pie Festival open at 6:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.. The band will perform selections from their 2022 pre-game and halftime shows, all fall sports teams will be introduced, and you can eat pie. There will be delicious Amish fried pies thanks to our generous sponsor, The Dr. Rita Hazen Education Foundation….

PHOTOS: Riverside ‘Panther Night’

The annual Riverside community event, Panther Night, kicked off back to school season Thursday evening at Riverside Memorial Stadium. The free event offered attendees the opportunity to be introduced to fall sports teams, athletes, and enjoy fundraising booths throughout the stadium grounds. Many booths offered food items or a raffle ticket to help support their respective organization or group. The Riverside Varsity Football team will host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart on Friday, September 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium to start their football season. LHS Pie Festival, Riverside Panther Night Scheduled This Week

Two local events this week kick off the back to school season and highlight the fall sports season.
