WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA) recently recognized Eric Perkins, of Ellwood City, as a Congressional Award Silver Medal Recipient, during an October 1st meeting in Rep. Kelly’s Butler office. The Congressional Award is a non-partisan, voluntary, and non-competitive award program for young Americans. The Congressional Award is open to ages between 14-24. The program encourages young Americans to set goals in important areas: expedition and exploration, physical fitness, personal development, and voluntary public service. Congressman Mike Kelly Visits The Borough

Mayor Anthony Court welcomed Congressman Mike Kelly in the borough last Friday. Kelly was in the area and met with the mayor and Sgt. Michael McBride concerning grant funds for police funding. Court and McBride proposed several needs for the department and Congressman Kelly is trying to secure funds through grants. WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (PA-16) today sent an official letter to the U.S. Department of Labor to help ensure a speedy resolution to recent paycheck problems for employees at Ellwood City Hospital in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.
