Florida Man Charged With Conspiracy Involving Fraudulent Medicare Claims At Former Ellwood City Medical Center
PITTSBURGH – A resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was charged in federal court with one count of conspiracy related to the submission of fraudulent Medicare claims at the former Ellwood City Medical Center, United States Attorney Cindy K. Chung announced on Wednesday. Daniel Hurt, 58, was charged by criminal Information with a conspiracy to commit health care fraud, pay and receive unlawful kickbacks, and engage in money laundering.
