The Lincoln High School Class of 1978 will have its 45th Class Reunion on Saturday, July 22nd at the Wurtemburg/Perry Fire Department. Ellwood City Wolves Club Awards $18,035 in Scholarships This Year To Local Students

On Wednesday, May 31st, the Ellwood City Wolves Den II hosted a dinner to honor the recipients of the Wolves Club Scholarships for 2023. Ten Wolves Club Scholarships, with a value of $18,035, were awarded this year including three new ones. Wolves Club president, Mike DeOtto commented, “Higher education puts students on the path to many different careers. Lincoln High School Top Nine & Graduating Class of 2023

The Lincoln High School graduating Class of 2023 will receive their diplomas Thursday, June 1st, during a ceremony scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Helling Stadium in Ewing Park. Lincoln High School is graduating 89 students with nine students receiving high honors. Students will follow 2022-23 classes for the last time on Wednesday. On June 24, 2023 the Lincoln High School Class of 2003 will hold its 20 year reunion. It will be held at Robert E. Three local students were awarded scholarships at the Ellwood City Historical Society on Monday. Sam Kline and Hayden Slade were each recipients of the $1,500.00 Robert & Janice Barensfeld Scholarships and Gabrielle Davis was the recipient of the $10,000.00 Marlene Painter Scholarship.  Davis and Slade are graduating seniors at Lincoln High School and Kline is a graduating senior at Riverside School District. The 2023 Lincoln High School Prom Court has been announced! On Friday, the Ellwood City “A Night With The Stars” Prom will be held at the New Englander in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Grady Smith Earns The MVS Elks Scholarship

Grady Smith has been named a National Elks Scholar and a recipient of their Most Valuable Student Scholarship. The Elks National Foundation scholarship program recognizes students in several categories including community service, honors and awards, extracurricular involvement, employment and academics. Grady was selected from over 20,000 applicants nationwide as one of the top 2% students in the country to become a lifelong Elks Scholar. Riverside & Ellwood Students Lead Mock Trial Boot Camp

On Wednesday, December 7th, Wilmington Area School District hosted a Mock Trial Boot Camp led by students from Riverside Beaver County and Lincoln High School. Over 30 high school students from the three schools participated in the training. Following a brief introduction that outlined the difference between civil and criminal cases as well as proper court protocol, participants rotated among five stations to learn elements of Mock Trial.
