Composting & Rain Barrel Workshop Planned

The Lawrence County Conservation District and the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department are partnering on a workshop about about rain barrels, stormwater management, backyard composting, rain gardens and more! Not only will you learn how to collect and use these resources, but you’ll also learn about their importance to you, your community, your climate and your environment. Lawrence County Awarded $1.8M For Renter Assistance

Lawrence County has been awarded $1,782,453.64 to assist renters who have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 with rent and utility payments. County Commission Morgan Boyd made the brief announcement on his social media page Wednesday evening.
