PHOTOS: Ellwood City Announces Homecoming Courts

Lincoln High School will celebrate its 65th Annual Homecoming on Friday, October 1st, when the Ellwood City Wolverines host the Neshannock Lancers at Helling Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Homecoming Queen’s Court will be announced on the field during pre-game ceremonies that begin at 6:30 p.m., and the 2021 Homecoming Queen will be crowned during halftime. Ellwood City Homecoming Queen & King Announced

Congratulations are in order for the 2020 Ellwood City Homecoming Queen and King! The winners were announced Friday night during the Ellwood City varsity football game at Helling Stadium that pitted the Wolverines against Beaver Falls.  Ellwood City was defeated 54-26 in the football contest. The game was streamed on the EC Wolverines YouTube.com webpage while the ceremony and crowning was live streamed on the Ellwood City Cheerleaders Facebook Page. PHOTOS: EC 2020 Homecoming Court

The 64th annual Lincoln High School Homecoming football game will be played this Friday at 7:00 p.m. when the Wolverines will host the Beaver Falls Tigers. This year, Homecoming festivities will look a little different due to Covid-19. A Homecoming King will be crowned at a ceremony to take place at Helling Stadium at 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. People can tune in through the Ellwood City Cheerleaders Facebook, as the cheerleaders will be live streaming the ceremony and crowning. Lincoln High School will celebrate its 63rd annual Homecoming on Friday, September 27th, as the Wolverines face the Western Beaver Golden Beavers in varsity football action. A new Homecoming King will be crowned at a pep rally in school on Thursday, September 26th, and the Homecoming Queen will be crowned during halftime of the football game on Friday. PHOTOS: Panthers Fall To Mohawk In Homecoming Game

Congratulations to Sarina Steigerwald the 2018 Riverside Homecoming Queen who was crowned by the Crown Bearer Natalie Bologna at half time. In football action, the Riverside Panthers fell to Mohawk 34-18 Friday night in a Midwestern Conference showdown.  Both teams entered the homecoming contest vying for playoff positions. Warriors running back Braydon Cameron scored three times on the ground and defensively with an interception return of 80 yards to lead Mohawk (6-1, 5-1) to victory. 2018 Riverside Homecoming Court Announced

Congratulations to the 2018 Riverside Homecoming Court!  The court had been announced at the end of last month with the names of Natalie Holzer, Lauren Bettencourt, Natalie Bologna, Sarina Steigerwald, Baylee Phillips, and Megan Rosendale. Tickets for the game will be available at Riverside during the morning on Friday. PHOTOS: Ellwood Falls To Freedom In Rain-Soaked Homecoming Game

After rain and thunder caused multiple game delays, Ellwood City finally fell to Freedom 35-13 in their homecoming contest Friday night at a wet Helling Stadium. Freedom senior Zack Rosa led an offensive attack that scored in each quarter of the Class-AA contest and connected with five difference receivers en route to his five touchdown performance. Congratulations to the Lincoln High School 2018 Homecoming Queen Court! The court that was announced last week includes Kaitlyn Francis, Bella Rangel, Mia DeCaria, Ariana Garroway, Natalia Greco, Katherina Boesendorfer, Madeline Spadafore, Isabella Roth, and Maura Agostinelli. Boesendorfer is an exchange student from Germany and is an honorary member of the court.
