Tomak Scores 5 Goals, Leads Wilmington Hockey To Victory
The Wilmington Co-op Hockey team upset a first place Carrick hockey team by a score of 9-8 Monday behind an impressive five goal game by Ellwood City senior Drake Tomak. The visiting Greyhounds jumped out to a 4-1 first period and 9-4 advantage after two periods before holding off Carrick for the victory. Tomak lit the lamp twice in the first period with assists from Logan Popovich (Wilmington) and Davis Phanco (Wilmington).
