The annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade took place Saturday afternoon along Lawrence Avenue in downtown Ellwood City. Thousands flocked to the sidewalks to watch and collect candy tossed from the many floats and participants in the parade. The Borough of Ellwood City modified its Trick or Treat schedule for this year, announcing it would take place Saturday evening after the parade. DON’T FORGET! Traditional fall temperatures met the many participants and onlookers who packed downtown Ellwood City on Saturday as part of the annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade. REMINDER: Halloween Parade Set For October 23

The annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade will take place on Saturday, October 23rd in downtown Ellwood City. In what may feel like annual conditions, wet weather and rain met those who paraded Lawrence Avenue on Saturday as part of the annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade. Many onlookers grabbed an umbrella and jacket to enjoy costumes, candy, and floats. The parade began at Holy Redeemer and continued west on Lawrence Avenue to 8th Street before returning on Crescent Avenue. Many area Trick or Treats are scheduled for Thursday evening. The Borough of Ellwood City will hold trick or treating from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.


Ellwood City Halloween Parade October 27

The annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade will march down Lawrence Avenue Saturday, October 27, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The parade will start at the intersection of 4th Street and Lawrence Avenue and end at the intersection of 8th Street and Lawrence Avenue. Staging will take place in the Holy Redeemer School parking lot. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 2:45 and enter the lot at Crescent Avenue and 3rd Street. Parents may drop off their children on Crescent Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street.
