Calling all ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and any other scary or funny outfits to get a laugh or scream – it’s time again for the annual EllwoodCity.org Halloween Costume Contest. Each year we have received dozens of entries – and 2021 will be no different!  Let’s make this year even more spooky or funny with your son or daughter’s costume photo submission! Congratulations to this year’s winners of the annual EllwoodCity.org Halloween Costume Contest! This year EllwoodCity.org held two contests, its original Facebook.com contest as well as a new costume contest of entries from a Fearscape indoor trick or treat event in October. The grand prize winner of the EllwoodCity.org contest was Jasmine Blaze, 4, and our second place winner was Myla Blinn (not pictured). Blaze, dressed a Pennywise Clown, collected an unimaginable 1.3k likes (36 shares) over the duration of the online contest. Halloween Contest Winners

As of 8a.m. November 9, we counted the votes- it was a very close race! We would like to congratulate our first place winner, Jin, age 5 with a whopping total of 419 likes- as a box of mac’n’cheese, and our second place winners, Aria Eldridge 3 as Wilma Flinestone and her sister Rowyn Eldridge 1, as Pebbles Flinestone following closely behind with a total of 344 likes. Thank you to all who submitted and participated in EllwoodCity.org’s annual Halloween Contest.

We are now accepting Halloween costume submissions for our annual costume contest! The last day to submit is Nov 2. All submissions will appear on our Facebook gallery page for voting beginning Friday, November 3rd and voting runs through Thursday, November 9th. The Rules: 1. Dress your kids up for Halloween! 2. Submit the best photo of your child in his/her costume to EllwoodCity.org by e-mailing ecstaff@ellwoodcity.org (please include name and age) 3. VOTE! 4. Win and collect your prize!
