ELLWOOD Visits Lawrence County High Schools as Part of Manufacturing Week

Last week, representatives from ELLWOOD visited with students throughout Lawrence County to celebrate Manufacturing Week, a lead-up to National Manufacturing Day celebrated Friday, October 7, 2022. ELLWOOD joined with the Lawrence County School to Work to coordinate the effort of reaching each high school in the county over the four-day period. Manufacturing Day is celebrated each year on the first Friday in October and is the manufacturing industry’s biggest opportunity to educate students, inspire the next generation of creators and promote the many career opportunities available in manufacturing. ELLWOOD Group, Inc. To Invest In Aluminum Tooling Plate Production Facility

ELLWOOD has announced plans for significant investment in its New Wilmington, Pa, ELLWOOD Specialty Steel (ESS) facility. The investment will give ESS the ability to produce its own Aluminum Tooling Plate (ATP) to better meet its customers’ needs. The new ATP facility will comprise a state-of-the-art, fully automated sawing, machining, quality control, lamination, storage and packaging line on the grounds of the current ESS facility.
