Relay For Life Event Leadership Meeting Thursday, September 14, 2017 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. Please join us for our first meeting of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Ellwood on Thursday, September 14th at 6pm. We will be meeting at The Beanery, 212 Portersville Road in Ellport, (the old La Isla Mexican Restaurant). We will be celebrating our 2017 event and beginning plans for our 2018 event. We welcome your input and support! The Beanery has some great food and you are welcome to order Dutch Treat. The Beanery also does flavored lattes, frapps, capps and milk shakes….

Cancer is a disease that affects millions of people around the world yearly – that’s why the American Cancer Society holds their signature and most successful fundraiser, Relay for Life, to raise funds for cancer research in the hopes of ultimately improving cancer survival rates, decrease the incidents of cancer, and improve the quality of life for those affected by the disease.
