Riverside Lions Club Community Updates

The Riverside Lions Club continues its community support through various programs and donations. The club offers a series of updates below spotlighting their recent efforts: To start things off the club made a donation to the Ellwood City Library Used Book Sale in the form of gift certificates to be given to any teacher asking for them. The club passed out 80 certificates for the sale. This is the third year weโ€™ve supported the book drive. Increasing the certificate amount each year. Moose Club Collecting Items For Community Food Drive, Hosting Sub Sale

The Ellwood City Moose Club will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Ellwood City Community Food Drive. The club will collect food items until November 14th and new/very lightly used coats until November 30th at the club for the Divine Grace Parish Winter Coat Drive. Ellwood City Moose Club is also hosting a sub sale fundraiser on Saturday, November 15th: 12″ American or Italian Subs $10 available starting 9:00 a.m. at four area locations (see attached picture)

Ellwood City Moose & Word Alive Church Host Breakfast For IRT Operation Healthy Ellwood

Ellwood City Moose Hosting Free Bully Seminar On October 1st

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. The Ellwood City Moose Club will be taking action at a local level to help create a safer environment for the children in our community and bring awareness to the initiative. Exciting Changes At The Ellwood City Moose Lodge #93

While the summer has been pretty quiet at the local Moose Club, lots of changes have been happening in the background. As of last month, the Board of Officer has almost been completely replaced with the exception of Trustee Dave Gallocher, whoโ€™s been on the board for over 10 years. In May, Joe Barresi was sworn in as President and Paul Pishioneri took the position of Chaplain.
