Tonight for Ellwoods Trick or Treating, the Ellwood Cit Medical Center will be handing out treats from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be treats located near the main entrance driveway. In other news, the Medical Center will be hosting a Meals On Wheels jewelry sale fundraiser. The fundraiser will be Thursday, November 8 from 8:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, November 9 from 8:00 am.m and 3:00 p.m. All jewelry will be sold for $6.00 a piece, and there will also be designer inspired handbags, electronics, and more sold. Letter From Ellwood City Medical Center Employees

In a submitted letter from Ellwood City Medical Center employees received Wednesday, nearly forty signatures from loyal employees of the Ellwood City Medical Center accompanied the letter asking those in the community to not believe everything heard and to continue to embrace the community hospital as a healthcare provider. “I am very proud to work with these individuals and many more. EC Medical Center: Helping Raise Money for Hayden Hamilton, Offering Flu Vaccines

The Ellwood City Medical Center is supporting Hayden Hamilton, a sophomore at linebacker at Laurel High School who sustained a serious spinal injury during a football game on August 31, 2018. Hayden went through a nine-hour surgery at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to isolate the fractured vertebrae and assess the damage to his spinal cord.  Hayden said he’s hopeful to be home by the end of November.
