Ellwood City’s 37th Annual Arts, Crafts, Entertainment and Food Festival started today at 11 a.m. The festival will run throughout the weekend ending on July 1 at 10 p.m. We had the chance to go down to the festival and ask some of the vendors questions about why they come to the EC Festival and what they have. Ellwood City Arts, Crafts and Food Festival: Behind the Scenes Part 4 of 4

Ellwood City’s 37th Annual Arts, Crafts, Entertainment and Food Festival starts tomorrow June 29 and runs till Sunday July 1. The festivals activities and entertainment start at 11 a.m. and end at 10 p.m. Going back to its original roots the Festival is having food vendors and musical acts that appeared at the first Ellwood City Festival. “Featured in the souvenir book are articles about Holy Redeemer, a food vendor for the Festival since the first Festival in 1981,” Boots said. “Also featured are two bands who played the very first Festival and will appear again for this years, they are Brok’n…

Popular Bluegrass Band Allegheny Drifters Set to Perform at Ellwood City Festival The Allegheny Drifters are a Bluegrass band originating in Western Pennsylvania. The Band is set to perform at the Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food and Entertainment Festival on June 30 at 3:30 p.m. In 2002, veteran western Pennsylvania bluegrass mandolinist Bob Artis was invited to put together a one-show-only bluegrass band to perform with the Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra at their debut concert to be held in April 2003. Nickel Plated Revolver to Perform at Ellwood City Festival Nickel Plated Revolver is a cover rock band that originated in Ellwood City around six years ago. There are five members in the band, Chrissy Paglia on Vocals, Todd Swogger on Guitar, Dave Fowler on Vocals and guitar, Steve Confer on Bass and Mark Barnes on Drums. Ellwood City Festival Juried Art Show 2018 Winners

After a year of absence, the Juried Art Show has returned to the Ellwood City Festival. The Ellwood City Festival committee is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Juried Art Show. Taking Best of Show is Lynn Fletcher with her oil painting titled, “Hand Picked”.  Other winners are: 2D Distinguished-Beth Beiter, 3D Distinguished-Chris Ferruchi, Photography Distinguished-Jennifer Toman, 2D Merit-Grace Carroll Hufnagel, & Photography Merit-Lisa Greco.  In the children’s categories, Ali Gardner received a Merit award in the 10 & under category, and Hayden Slade received a Merit award in the 11-15 year old category.   As a special recognition for our men and women who put their lives on the…

Ellwood City Arts, Crafts and Food Festival: Behind the Scenes Part 1 of 4

Ellwood City is gearing up for its 37th Annual Ellwood City Arts, Crafts and Food Festival starting on June 29 and running till July 1. There will be no shortage of fun with continuous all-day entertainment, vendors and crafts. The festivals activities and entertainment start at 11 a.m. and don’t stop until 10 p.m. The children’s area is returning and will be offering different fun and engaging activities, some of the activities are free and some will cost a small fee.
