Kinsley McElwain Earns 2026 Little Miss Firecracker Crown

Ellwood City’s annual tradition of the Little Miss Firecracker Pageant was a huge success on Friday, July 3rd. The pageant started at 11:00 am after the raising of the flag at the Ellwood City Arts Crafts and Food Festival. The girls weathered through the heat and displayed so much talent and charisma, the judges had a hard time choosing the winners. Out of 16 participants, the winners were: 1st place and the winner of Little Miss Firecracker 2026 is 8-year-old Kinsley McElwain (parents Cody & Goldie McElwain) as she charmed the judges with her personality and cheer with her patriotic…

Mayor Court Accepts Donation To Festival From Local Realtor

Mayor Anthony J. Court accepted a check from Bud Mazzant, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway, in support of the Ellwood City Festival. Mazzant said he was proud to contribute to his friend Mayor Court and the Ellwood City community. “It’s people like Buddy Mazzant who help make this festival possible,” Mayor Court said in a statement. The mayor extends “Best wishes for another successful Festival.” This is the second year that Mazzant has come forward to donate to the festival.

2026 Little Miss Firecracker Pageant Announced

The line up for the annual Little Miss Firecracker Pageant has been announced. The patriotic pageant will kick off the Ellwood City Festival on Friday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. on the entertainment stage in Ewing Park. “We are very excited to have so many bright personalities in this large group of 16 girls this year! It will be quite the show,” says Pageant Chair Jenn Greco. Alexandria Smith Crowned 2025 Little Miss Firecracker Winner

The Folino Stage in Ewing Park glittered with patriotic sparkle & spunk on Friday as 10 local ladies competed for the 8th Annual Little Miss Firecracker Crown. Alexandria Smith was crowned the 2025 winner. Ella Fauzey was 1st runner-up and Cali Kline earned the Patriotic Spirit Award.
