The Ellwood City Area School District is now accepting 2026-27 Kindergarten pre-registration. If you are planning to enroll your child in kindergarten this fall, please complete the form and return it to your child’s school as soon as possible. A Century In A Box: Ellwood City Area School District Uncovers a 100-Year-Old Time Capsule

Renovation projects typically bring a little dust, a lot of work, and interesting discoveries among the layers. What started as a routine renovation of Ellwood City’s Lincoln High school, turned into a remarkable connection to the past. ECASD Transition to ABC Transit Experiencing Growing Pains

In a statement released by the Ellwood City Area School District on Thursday, the district is clear in acknowledging the transition to ABC Transit has had some early growing pains. Three Community Projects in Beaver and Lawrence Counties Awarded Over $53,000 from the State Environmental Education Grants Program

PHOTOS: Ellwood City Elementary Students Host Pizza Day

120 Sixth-grade students participated in a pizza project that culminated last week as they ventured to local pizzerias Vinny’s Restaurant and Johnny’s Pizza Shop. Elementary Computer Teacher Matt Skoczylas and School Counselor Christina Mendillo organized the project. Skoczylas had completed a pizza project unit with Ellwood City 6th graders before but, according to Mendillo, wanted to expand the project and turn it into an actual simulation.
