The Ellwood Area Family Center will be hosting a youth baseball clinic in February. The goal is to enhance youth baseball in the community and will be open to players ages 10-12. The clinic will be run by Coach Jeff Fotia, former Ellwood City high school baseball coach who won multiple section titles and a PIAA state championship in 2003 and former players from the state championship team. The Ellwood Area Family Center will be hosting youth basketball sessions beginning next month. The basketball sessions will be held at the Ellwood Area Family Center on the North Side of Ellwood City on Thursday afternoons beginning on Thursday, January 8th. The clinic will run for five consecutive Thursdays and will be available for ages 8, 9, and 10-year-old children. The Ellwood Area Family Center will be hosting three youth basketball clinics beginning in October. The basketball sessions will be held at the Ellwood Area Family Center on the North Side of Ellwood City on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning with the Age 5-6 and Age 7-8 sessions starting Tuesday, September 30th.
