Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest to be Held in March

The Annual Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest has been postponed until March. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on March 26 at the Sons of Italy at 808 Lawrence Ave. It was  originally scheduled for Jan. 29. The event is an annual favorite and proceeds benefit Ellwood City Revitalization. The cost is $25 per person in advance and $30 per person at the door. 350 May Toast the Town at 2nd Winter Wine and Brew Fest

A crowd of up to 350 is expected at the second Winter Wine and Brew Fest, which will feature the selections of nearly 18 vendors, a table-visiting magician, tantalizing finger foods and socializing to the backdrop of constant music, said Brad Ovial, president of Ellwood City Revitalization. “All for $20,” he said of advance ticket sales. Lawrence Avenue Developer Seeks Potential Businesses

The area of 509 to 515 Lawrence Avenue has been awarded to Lutz & Myers Inc. for redeveloping, and now Ron Lutz says the next step for developing is finding potential businesses. Lutz & Myers will be relying on the help of potential businesses to decide on which blueprint design they will choose for construction since they have several possible blueprints drawn up for the area. Progress Coming to Ellwood City: Redevelopment of Lawrence Avenue Properties

The area of 509-515 Lawrence Avenue has been awarded to Lutz & Myers for redevelopment. State Representative Aaron Bernstine posted a live video feed of himself accompanied by Ron Lutz and Ellwood City Revitalization member Brad Ovial explaining the details of the sale and plans for the 10,000+ square foot development.
