ECIAHF Extends Christmas Blessing, Next Meeting In January

The Members of the Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation extend their warm Blessed Christmas and New Year Greetings to all Ellwoodians. Due to Family Gatherings and Special Church Attendance our December monthly meeting is cancelled. ECIAHF will resume on Friday January 27, 2023 at Hunter Bros Coffee, 229 Portersville Road, Ellwood City (Old Ellport School). ECIAHF November Meeting Recap

Members of Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation met on Friday November 18th at Hunter Bros Coffee at the Ellport Junction. President Barbara Mastropietro opened the meeting with the Prayer “To Send Forth.” World War II Veteran and Hero Sargent Guy Prestia led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Secretarial and financial reports were given by Virginia Ottaviani and Cherlyn Rangel. Since the Cookie Bowl Explosion of 2022 was such a success the group entertained the possibility of a follow-up in 2023. The members of the Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation (ECIAHF) invite you to attend their Friday, November 18th meeting at 10:00 a.m. The meeting is held at 229 Portersville Road, Hunter Bros Coffee, (Old Ellport School). “Our theme is ‘A Walk Down Memory Lane’,” says ECIAHF President Barbara Mastropietro. ECIAHF October Meeting Recap

Members of the Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation met Thursday October 27th at Hunter Bros Coffee, at 229 Portersville Road. The meeting opened with “A Prayer in Time of Need.” World War II Veteran and hero Mr. Guy Prestia led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Treasurer Cherlyn Rangel reported on the current expenses and remaining balance. Due to needed changes and updating of information Secretary Virginia Ottaviani will give a complete report at the November meeting. Members of Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation (ECIAHF) met for their monthly meeting August 26,2022 at the Ellwood City Area Historical Society. President Barbara Mastropietro conducted a short business meeting. The group opened with a Grateful Prayer and World War II Veteran and Hero Mr. Guy Prestia led the Pledge of Allegiance. Members of Ellwood City Italian American Heritage Foundation (ECIAHF) are asked to report if they are planning to attend the Friday, July 22, 2022 meeting. The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Ellwood City Area Historical Society, located at 310 Fifth Street, Ellwood City, PA 16117. “Our special bang-up presentation was two years in the scheduling.
