It was a “GOOD” day at Delmar Golf Course on Sunday. Tyler Good captured the 65th Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship yesterday with a brilliant 2 under par 70 to hold off Michael Pope by 2 shots. Good, a former EC golf standout, started the day a shot back of defending champion Jordan Keller, who opened with a 2 under par 70. Eighteen former Delmar Club Champions gathered on Wednesday to celebrate and reflect on 65 years of accomplishments, memories and personal milestones at Delmar Golf Course. Keller Crowned Champion Of 64th Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship

The 64th Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship was held August 10th and August 11th, 2024. This season’s championship field was comprised of 62 members of Delmar Golf Course. Ellwood City golf team junior and co-captain, Jordan Keller outlasted the field to be crowned the champion golfer of the year with a two stroke play total of 141 (-3). Keller’s even par 72 Sunday was good enough to hold off Zach Buben’s closing 69, as well as Michael Pope who both finished the event at 145. 2023 Delmar Golf Course Club Championship Results

The 63rd Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship was held August 5th and August 6th, 2023. This year the event featured 63 members and Sam Barry Jr. collected his 11th club championship. Barry, Jr. finished with a two day total of 4 under par, 140 to win by 3 strokes over Broc Boariu and Lino Simeoni. Dave Cappello and Geoffery Bokor captured the A-Flight title while Carson Cappello captured the B-Flight championship. Del-Mar Golf Club Named Among Golfers’ Choice Top 25 Most Improved Courses

In a recent NBC GolfPass article, Del-Mar Golf Club was among 25 courses that earned national recognition as golf courses making a comeback. “It is a tremendous honor to have the NBC Golfpass community recognize the efforts we have made,” says Samuel Barry, Del-Mar Golf Course President. “Continually earning higher ratings, by our costumers, is validation that Delmar is moving in the right direction.” According to the GolfPass.com article, the 25 courses earned higher ratings in 2022 than they did in 2021. The Snowball Classic – A Delmar Tradition

December 26th, 1992, Bill Clinton was elected, but not yet inaugurated. OJ was still a well respected football analyst and Jimmy (Tritt), Fran (McLaughlin) and I (Brian Hudson) decided to go golfing with all of the new golf equipment that we had gotten for Christmas. FORE! Ellwood City Co-Ed Golf Off To Fast Start

Ellwood City Co-Ed Golf Team is enjoying some early season success, collecting victories in its first two matches of the season. The Wolverines opened up the season with a home victory over Union on Friday (223-259) and collected another victory at home on Tuesday, defeating New Castle (214-256). On Friday, three Ellwood golfers – Jordan Keller, Nathan Williams, and Mitch Covert – posted rounds of 44 to pace the host Wolverines.
