Tyler Good captured the 65th Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship yesterday with a brilliant 2 under par 70 to hold off Michael Pope by 2 shots. Good, a former EC golf standout, started the day a shot back of defending champion Jordan Keller, who opened with a 2 under par 70. Eighteen former Delmar Club Champions gathered on Wednesday to celebrate and reflect on 65 years of accomplishments, memories and personal milestones at Delmar Golf Course. As part of the evening’s festivities, the club proudly recognized Jordan Keller, its 2024 Delmar Club Champion, for his outstanding performance last season. In addition, Ms. Romy Westlund was awarded the 2025 Jack Ferrante Delmar Golf Course Memorial Scholarship — an annual scholarship presented to a graduating member of the Ellwood City golf programs. The 64th Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship was held August 10th and August 11th, 2024. This season’s championship field was comprised of 62 members of Delmar Golf Course. Ellwood City golf team junior and co-captain, Jordan Keller outlasted the field to be crowned the champion golfer of the year with a two stroke play total of 141 (-3). Keller’s even par 72 Sunday was good enough to hold off Zach Buben’s closing 69, as well as Michael Pope who both finished the event at 145. The 63rd Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship was held August 5th and August 6th, 2023. This year the event featured 63 members and Sam Barry Jr. collected his 11th club championship. Barry, Jr. finished with a two day total of 4 under par, 140 to win by 3 strokes over Broc Boariu and Lino Simeoni. Dave Cappello and Geoffery Bokor captured the A-Flight title while Carson Cappello captured the B-Flight championship. Brandon Melfi collected his first club championship with a two day total of even par 144 to win by a stroke over Sam Barry Jr. and three strokes over Broc Boariu and Mike Vucilich. Vucelich collected the A-Flight title and Carson Cappello captured the B-Flight championship by one stroke over Colten Crizer.
