Clean up your yard, clean up your home, and clean up your garage! Franklin Township residents are invited to participate in a township clean-up day planned for Saturday, May 3, 2025. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until 2:00 p.m. for township residents. Residents can drop off trash at the Franklin Township Building located on Route 288 in Fombell. This cleanup event is for township residents only, with two (2) passes allowed per household. A pass is good for one (1) load. Perry Township will hold its annual clean-up day on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The cost is $10.00 per load with a $50.00 per load fee for larger vehicles than a car or regular pick-up truck. The Borough of Ellwood City has announced its annual fall clean up event scheduled next month. The Fall Clean Up event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024 and will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The drop off location is the parking lot at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge (same location as 2023). Wayne Township Votes Against Holding Clean-Up Day

In a 2-1 vote, the Wayne Township Board of Supervisors voted against holding its annual clean-up day. The vote was part of new business items at the township’s monthly Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, March 7th. According to the township, Supervisor Marc Cunningham voted no with Supervisor Rick Weingartner seconding the vote. Supervisor William Hepler was in favor of clean-up.
