Class of 1954 “Life is a Beach” Reunion

The sign welcomed the 1954 Lincoln classmates to “Life is a Beach” as presented by the umbrella picnic table, set with a champagne bottle and service, framed by two Adirondack chairs draped with beach towels on the lawn of the Ellwood City Saxon Club, on Saturday, July 16 at 3 p.m. The attendees entered the hall entrance directed by the arrow sign held by a perched sea bird on the left and on the right, beach “sand” with two sand chairs holding beach towels set around an umbrella table. Lincoln Class of 1954 July Meeting

Pudue La Cava hosted the final planning session of the Lincoln High Class of 1954 “Life is a Beach” committee at her Mt. Vernon Drive home on Thursday, July 7 at 4 p.m. Co-chairman Paul Abraham presided with the full committee in attendance. The session began with a luncheon provided by LaCava, Ilene Gardner, Ann Amadio, Patty Tino, Arlene “Pinky” Maielli, and Clemmy Sirimarco and was served by LaCava and Gardner. Lincoln Class of 1954 June Meeting

Pudue La Cava hosted the Lincoln Class of 1954, “Life is a Beach” committee at her Mt Vernon Drive home on Thursday, June 16 at 4 p.m. The session began with lunch provided by Ann Amadio, Ilene Gardner, Jan Keenan, Arlene Maielli, Clemmy Sirmarco and LaCava. Gardner and LaCava served and presented Amadio with a birthday cake, made by Gardner, in honor of her Flag Day birthday. Pudue La Cava hosted the 1954 Lincoln Class “Life is a Beach” committee at her Mt Vernon Drive home on Thursday, May 12 at 4 p.m. Co-chairmen Paul Abraham and James Spielvogel presided over the session that began with lunch provided by Ann Amadio, Arlene “Pinky” Maielli, Jan Keenan, Clemmy Sirimarco, Ilene Gardner and LaCava. Dessert featured a decorated birthday cake, no candles, made by Garnder in honor of Spielvogel’s May birthday. Pudue LaCava hosted the 1954 Lincoln Class, “Life is a Beach” committee at her Mt Vernon Drive home at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11. The session began with observance of a moment of silence in honor of Veteran’s Day. Lunch provided by committee members, Arelene “Pinky” Maielli, Ilene Gardner, Clemmy Sirimarco, James Gillespie and LaCava was served by Gardner and LaCava. Maielli provided a pumpkin dessert in advance of Thanksgiving. Gillespie led the business session with the fund raising report.
