‘Let There Be Lights’ Weekend Of Events Start Friday

Kick off your Holiday’s with a series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce. First, on Friday, downtown will light up with the lighting of the holiday tree in the Ellwood City Community plaza at 7:30 p.m. as part of Ellwood City’s Light Up Night. Live entertainment will take place from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the plaza and on Lawrence Avenue and fireworks will be set off behind the plaza after the tree lighting! Local Man Lights Up Ewing Park with Decades of Service

That beautiful twinkle that you see in Ewing Park at Christmas time is a labor of love made possible by one man who remains dedicated to the weeks of effort to string the thousands of lights. For Sam Pawlowski, Christmas in the Park begins in October when he begins the tireless work to complete the massive display.
