CCBC Announces President’s and Dean’s Lists for Summer Terms

Monaca, PA – Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) is proud to release 112 names of students who achieved President’s List and Dean’s List honors for the summer 2017 semester. In order to be named to the President’s List, students must have completed at least 12 hours of credit-bearing courses in which performance grades are awarded, and have received a 3.75 grade-point average or above for the semester. CCBC Leads American Association of Community Colleges Industry-Informed Infrastructure Initiative

Monaca, PA – Community college leaders and industry partners gathered at Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) recently to begin a year-long collaborative project and discuss partnerships for economic development and workforce growth in Pennsylvania and Ohio. CCBC Revives Gift of $150,000

Monaca, PA – The Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) has received a $150,000 gift from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation to create and lead a tristate consortium of industry leaders, higher education providers, workforce development boards, and others in order to prepare a trained workforce for energy and advanced manufacturing jobs. CCBC Expands Nursing Program to Washington County

(Monaca, PA) – Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) has announced the expansion of its associate degree in nursing program to a site in Washington County. The Western Area Career and Technology Center (WACTC), located in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, will serve as a new location for CCBC’s nursing program, providing expanded career opportunities for Washington County practical nursing students interested in advancing as registered nurses.
