Holy Redeemer Social Club Planning Annual Casino Trip

The Holy Redeemer Social Club is planning its annual trip to Seneca Niagara next month. The trip is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The cost is $40.00 to join the casino trip.  The fee includes $25.00 in free play at the casino. “We have a few seats left,” says event organizer, John Pansera. Mini-casinos seemed so promising back in October 2017 when gaming expansion legislation authorized licenses for 10 satellite casinos. Just think: The creation of 10 smaller casinos scattered throughout the state would mean millions in new license auction fees for Pennsylvania, additional gambling revenue streams and more casino jobs. Implicit in the mini-casino legislation, there would then be a total of 23 brick-and-mortar gambling facilities. That would have been 13 regular casinos or racinos plus the 10 new mini-casinos. Wurtemburg-Perry VFD Holding 1st Annual Night at the Casino

The Wurtemburg-Perry Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its first annual Night at the Casino in February. Their first annual trip will take party-goers to the Rivers Casino on Saturday, February 15 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The bus will leave from the fire department parking lot at 4:00 p.m. and the bus will leave from the casino no later than 10:15 p.m.  Approximate time of return to the fire department parking lot is 11:15 p.m. According to a social media post, there are still a few tickets available.
