BC3 Announces President’s List, Dean’s List & Graduates For Spring 2023

Butler County Community College is proud to announce the names of students who have made the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring 2023 semester, as well as the names of those who have graduated recently. Students who have achieved a cumulative GPA (grade-point average) of 3.75 or higher are named to the President’s List following completion of at least 12 semester hours or upon completion of degree requirements. Aliya Garroway says she needs $600,000 to make her idea become a reality. The Lincoln High School senior pitched her business plan for a “high-ceilinged” indoor baseball and softball complex in Lawrence County to be called “No Off-Season” to Ellwood City business leaders, and to community college educators and administrators April 28 as one of eight students to complete the 2022-2023 Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship program. Riv-Ell Program Forges Ahead

$5K Raised by BC3, Community To Provide Free Holiday Meals

(Butler, PA) A Butler County Community College campaign to which employees, students and community members contributed $5,145 in September will provide free holiday meals to BC3 Pioneer Pantry patrons and in boxes decorated with paper hearts painted by 3- to 5-year-olds. Nearly 60 people during a week of charitable giving administered by the BC3 Education Foundation helped the college to raise funds to create Thanksgiving and December holiday meals for BC3 community members experiencing food insecurity. BC3 Volleyball Wins Region 20 Crown, Earns Berth To North Carolina

On her final pass in her last home game, All-American Morgan Jack set up the kill Saturday that sent the No. 1-ranked Butler County Community College volleyball team to a district championship tournament in North Carolina and the setter to the top of BC3’s career list in assists. All-American and Lincoln High School graduate Breanna Reisinger had nine kills as the No. 1-ranked Butler County Community College volleyball team won an unprecedented seventh consecutive Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference championship Saturday with a victory against the Community College of Beaver County. BC3 Volleyball Upholds Highest Ranking In Program History

Lincoln High School graduate Breanna Reisinger is helping lead a Butler County Community College volleyball team that enters the second half of its 2022 regular season this week upholding the highest national ranking the program has had in its history. BC3, with a 7-2 record, was ranked No. 2 among 97 programs in a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll released Monday. The Pioneers were also ranked No. 2 in a Sept. 6 poll. Dr. Nick Neupauer To Receive Inaugural Leadership Excellence Award

Dr. Nick Neupauer, an Ellwood City native and the longest-serving chief executive officer in the 57-year history of Butler County Community College, will receive on Wednesday an inaugural leadership award named after a longtime Lawrence County resident. Leadership Butler County on September 7th will present BC3’s president with its first Stan Kosciuszko Leadership Excellence Award during a Celebrate Business Dinner at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
