Steven Pander and Ralph Mulneix, both of Portersville, were among ten Butler County Community College students who received $7,500 this fall in programs that emphasize cybersecurity education and that have collectively grown in enrollment by 32 percent since January. Social Media Influencer Among BC3’s New Short-Term Programs

Butler – One short-term Butler County Community College program debuting this fall will help students such as small-business owners or employees to acquire or enhance social media skills, and the other, to gain practical knowledge needed to work in a medical office. Application Deadline Nears For Record 155 BC3 Scholarships

Six scholarships administered by the Butler County Community College Education Foundation will debut in the 2023-2024 academic year and increase to 155 the record number of named financial awards available to BC3 students, a college administrator said. Students registered in fall 2023 credit programs can apply for a scholarship until July 1, said Bobbi Jo Cornetti, development coordinator of the foundation that distributed 148 named financial awards and a record $292,123 to BC3 students in the 2022-2023 academic year.
