Ten Riverside or Lincoln high school students participated in Butler County Community College’s Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship program in 2024-2025. Lincoln High School graduate Mitchell Covert fired a round of 83, finishing fourth, to help lead Butler County Community College victory over Jamestown (N.Y.) Covert, BC3 Men’s Golf Eye Regional Title, Chance To Battle For National Crown

No athletics program at Butler County Community College has earned more automatic berths to a national championship tournament than men’s golf, whose teams have advanced to the spring-season pinnacle six times and as recently as 2023. Coval Appointed As BC3’s Ninth President

Megan M. Coval was introduced as the ninth president of Butler County Community College on Thursday. BC3 trustees during their regular meeting today unanimously approved the appointment of Coval, who has led western Pennsylvania’s oldest community college as interim president since May. Coval to begin acting as interim president as of May 2024 to succeed Ellwood City native Dr. Nick Neupauer, who had announced his retirement after 17 years as president in January. Butler County Community College is proud to announce the names of students who have made the President’s List and Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester, as well as the names of those who have graduated recently. Girls as young as fifth-graders can develop skills in volleyball by attending Butler County Community College clinics directed by a BC3 head coach whose players have won 475 matches and earned 14 All-American awards. BC3’s winter skills clinic Jan. 25 will be followed by one-day spring skills clinics that will also be held on Saturdays in February, March and April. New Castle, PA – A 27-year-old full-time emergency medical technician, foster and stepmother and nondirected organ donor has long wanted to resume pursuit of a college degree.
