BC3’s First Hospitality Forum to Cater to Job-Seeking Students

Butler, PA- Butler County Community College will recognize as distinguished alumni a Butler Township woman who as a 36-year-old mother of three in 1966 was so nervous on her first day of class that she wore two different shoes, and the Valencia man with whom she would work 30 years later to help create the BC3 Alumni Association. BC3 Golfers Eye 5th WPCC Crown in Row Behind Eye-Opening Play of Latecomer

Butler, PA – The Butler County Community College golf team’s chances – and spirits – are soaring ahead of this weekend’s Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference championships, as are tee shots from Tyler Good’s newfound low-ball flight setting. Since joining BC3 after its third match of the 2017 season, the graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City has added 50 yards to his drives, averaged a squad-best 77 and has led the Pioneers (12-1) as a medalist in four consecutive outings. BC3 Receives Third $1M Commitment in Past 38 Months

Butler, PA – Butler County Community College announced Friday a $1 million commitment from Janice Phillips Larrick, matching the two highest gifts in BC3’s 52-year history and representing the third such donation in the past 38 months. The commitment from Larrick, a former BC3 student, follows her $50,000 gift in March that also will benefit what BC3 President Dr. Nick Neupauer calls the school’s “hallmark” program – its highly competitive registered nursing program that accepts only 70 of its more than 200 annual applicants. “Mrs. Larrick,” Neupauer said, “is an incredibly special person. Lincoln High Grad Sparks BC3 to Golf Victories for Fourth Time in Row

(Greensburg, PA)  — Tyler Good, a 2017 Lincoln High graduate in his fourth appearance with the Butler County Community College golf team, shot a 2-over-par 74 Friday to lead BC3 for the fourth consecutive match and to victories against Westmoreland County Community College and Penn State-Fayette at Valley Green Golf and Country Club.  BC3 (12-1) posted a score of 311 on the 6,166-yard course in topping Westmoreland (327) and Penn State-Fayette (330).  In addition to Friday, Good was also BC3’s medalist on Sept. 24 by shooting a 4-over 76 over the Community College of Allegheny County-Boyce at Pittsburgh North Golf Club, Bakerstown;…

BC3’s Fischer Among Trailblazers in Inaugural WPCC Women’s Golf Tournament

Butler, PA – Fresh off No. 2 at Lake Arthur Golf Course, where Julia Fischer correctly reads a right-to-left sloping green and curls a 10-foot uphill putt to within 1 foot of the cup, the Butler County Community College freshman approaches the tee box on No. 3. Lincoln High Grad Fires 76, Sparks BC3 to Win for Third Time in Three Outings

Bakerstown, PA – Tyler Good, a 2017 graduate of Lincoln High School in his third appearance with the Butler County Community College golf team, led the Pioneers to victory for the third consecutive match by firing a 3-over 76 Sunday against the Community College of Allegheny County-Boyce at Pittsburgh North Golf Course. $2.3M Wise Children’s Center at BC3 on Track for January Opening
