New Castle, PA – In spite of a solid performance from Anthony Roth with 17 points, Lincoln fell to Shenango 83-53. Roth led the charge for Ellwood City Wolverines‘s offense, scoring 17 points, with seven points during the third period. He also contributed five rebounds and one steal. Two other players also racked up double digit scores for Lincoln. Sean Busby put up 13 points. Broc Boariu hit two three-pointers and scored 10 points total. Ellwood City used double-double efforts from Broc Boariu and Sean Busby to emerged victorious 65-56 against Springdale Wednesday night at Lincoln High School. Busby finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds (6 offensive) to power the Wolverine offense attack that ack with a vengeance in the final two quarters, after being behind early in the game, trailing 30-26 at the half. Lincoln gained on their opponent late in the game, scoring a game-high 23 points in the third quarter.
