Lady Wolverines Pass First Test, Defeat Avonworth 12-6 The Antelopes entered the game with a ton of offensive hype and an undefeated record. Ellwood City Wolverines Loses Lead Early in Defeat Ellwood City Wolverines watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-1 loss to West Allegheny on Saturday. West Allegheny scored on a single by Justin Usenicnik in the first inning and a double by Trey Zeroski in the second inning. West Allegheny took an early lead in the first inning. Ellwood City Wolverines stayed in it until the end, but Blackhawk pulled away late in a 12-1 victory on Wednesday.
