Howard E. Ford, 60, of Franklin Township passed away on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 at the Blair Personal Care Home. Howard was born in Ellwood City on August 14th, 1961 to the late Howard E. Ford, Sr. and Rhoda (Smail) Miles. He had graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1979. Over the years, Howard worked at Dambaugh Nursery in Fombell, House of Paneling and Ziebart in Wexford. Howard enjoyed hunting and working on cars. Daniel F. Kitzko, 86, of New Castle, (Formerly of Wampum) passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Autumn Grove Care Center. Born March 31, 1936 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Felix S. Sr. and Mary Ann Chabak Kitzko. He was married to Wilma J. Evanoff Kitzko. She passed on July 8, 2009. Daniel graduated from Shenango High School in 1954. Howard P. “Pat” Campbell, 76 of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Howard was born on November 21st, 1945 in Ellwood City to the late Lemont and Elizabeth (Burr) Campbell. He worked for Ellwood City Poultry as a butcher, the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill as a janitor, and most recently as a dishwasher at the Holiday Inn. He was a member of the Park Gate Baptist Church. August was born in Ellwood City on February 9, 1942 to the late August and Pauline A. (Ferrucci) Morella. He had graduated from Lincoln High School. Jim worked at the Connoquenessing Country Club, Holiday Inn, and Morella’s Diner which was located in Ellport as a food manager. He enjoyed cooking and drag races. Mrs. Isabella Costa, 101, of Wayne Township passed away on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at Quality of Life in New Castle. Mrs. Costa was born on July 25th, 1921 in Perry Twp. to the late Frank and Lizana (Innocent) D’Ambrosia, Sr.. She had worked at the U.S. Steel Plant in Ellwood City during World War II. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers.
