Kurt S. Pohto, 61, of Center Township, Butler County, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 8, 2023 Born in Cleveland, OH on September 11, 1961, Kurt  was the son of Linda Simon Pohto of Ellwood City and the late Carl S. Pohto.  Kurt had worked as a pipefitter. Besides his mother, Kurt is survived by a sister, Jacqui Bowman of Ellport and two brothers, Christopher Pohto of Amherst, NY and Carl Pohto of Mogadore, OH. Raymond C. Dombeck, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Celebration Villa in Chippewa. Born in Ellwood City on August 21, 1933, Ray was the son of the late Conrad A. and Mildred V. Kline Dombeck. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lorena Lehman. She passed away on June 2, 2020. Ray had worked as the chief estimator at the Aetna Standard in Ellwood City and later retired from the same position at Herr-Voss in Callery. Mr. Dennis J. “Denny” Tritt, 68, of Butler passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2023 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Denny was born the son of the late Floyd “Bud”  and Margaret “Peg” (Gardner) Tritt on August 3rd, 1954 in Ellwood City. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1972 and from Geneva College in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Nancy J. Uber, 77, of New Castle (formerly of Wayne Township) passed away late evening Saturday, July 8, 2023 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital. Nancy was born on February 10, 1946 in Ellwood City to Earl W. and Martha Eleanor Craven Hennon. She attended Chewton and Shenango Schools before graduating from Ellwood City in 1964. Nancy was happily married to her late husband Fred Paul Uber whom she met at church, for nearly 36 years until his untimely death in 2009. Robert “Robbie” S. Cowan, 57, of Perry Township passed away on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center. Robbie was born at the New Brighton Hospital on February 22nd, 1966 to the late John R. “Jack and Eva Jane (Locke) Cowan Jr.. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1984. Bruce W. Patrick, 65, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born on April 6, 1958 in Rochester, Bruce was the son of the late George and Mary Ann Kessler Patrick.  He retired from Norfolk Southern in 2013 as an Electrician.  Bruce was a member of Divine Grace Parish and its Holy Name Society and the New Brighton Masonic Lodge.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and leatherworking.
