Darlene Donley, 58, of Harmony Fischer Ave., Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born Dec. 10, 1957 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. Donley and Hilda Egerer Donley of Harmony. Darlene worked as the Manager of Conley’s Best Western in Cranberry. She had also formerly worked at Airway Luggage in Ellwood City. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Darlene loved the ocean and vacationing in Puerto Rico. June N. Goehring Gahagan, 96, formerly of Ellport passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at the Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Born April 24, 1919 in West Pittsburg, she was the daughter of the late Percy B. and Alice Fosnot Weaver. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harland “Fin” Goehring who died in 1973 and Harry L. Gahagan who died in 2008 and a brother, Donald Weaver. Kathy M. Hahn, 66, of Mulberry, Fla. (formerly of Ellwood City) passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at the Lakeland Regional Hospital in Florida. Born May 19, 1949 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Frederick G. and Zelma Marie Derrow Hahn. Kathy graduated from Laurel High School. She continued her studies at Roberts Wesleyan College in North Chili, N.Y. earning her bachelors degree. She also received her Master’s Degree from Western Maryland University. Margaret Scala, 84, died on Jan. 1, 2016 at home in the care of her loving daughter Donnalee and her sister Eleanor. Margaret was born on Nov. 11, 1931 in Newark, N.J. to Genevieve and Gennaro Leone. Andrew K. McClintick, 24, of Scottview Dr., Scott Township passed away unexpectedly in his residence on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015. Born in Ellwood City on April 19, 1991 he was the son of Richard and Carrie McClintick Pander of Portersville. Andrew was a 2010 graduate of Laurel High School. Betty J. Street, 85, of Chewton passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at the Rochester Manor. Born Jan. 30, 1930 in East Palestine, Oh., she was the daughter of the late Lyman and Mary Jane VanKirk Schultz. Betty retired from Conley’s Irish Pub where she was the head cook. She then worked at Little Joes in Beaver Falls for a few years. She was a member of the Chewton Christian Church. Betty was an accomplished cook and baker.
