Margaret Scala, 84, died on Jan. 1, 2016 at home in the care of her loving daughter Donnalee and her sister Eleanor. Margaret was born on Nov. 11, 1931 in Newark, N.J. to Genevieve and Gennaro Leone. She resided in San Francisco, Calif. and West Orange, N.J. before settling in Beaver Falls. She worked in the law firm of Samuel J. Foosaner in Newark, N.J., the Babcock and Wilcox Steel Co. in Koppel and the AAA office in Rochester where she served as Editor of the Beaver/Lawrence County AAA Motorist Magazine. Andrew K. McClintick, 24, of Scottview Dr., Scott Township passed away unexpectedly in his residence on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015. Born in Ellwood City on April 19, 1991 he was the son of Richard and Carrie McClintick Pander of Portersville. Andrew was a 2010 graduate of Laurel High School. He worked at Pittsburgh Plug and Product in Evans City. Andrew was a people person. He enjoyed drawing and music. Always the life of the party, Andrew could bring a smile to anyone’s face. Betty J. Street, 85, of Chewton passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at the Rochester Manor. Born Jan. 30, 1930 in East Palestine, Oh., she was the daughter of the late Lyman and Mary Jane VanKirk Schultz. Betty retired from Conley’s Irish Pub where she was the head cook. She then worked at Little Joes in Beaver Falls for a few years. She was a member of the Chewton Christian Church. Betty was an accomplished cook and baker. Pamela Diane Reed, 56, of South Beaver Boro, Pa. passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015 at her residence. Born Feb. 25, 1959 in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Roberta McDonald Cooper. She was married to Duane Reed who passed away in 2007. Pam graduated from Hopewell High School in 1977. She worked as a nurse’s aid at McGuire Home for 25 years. He was a member of the Teamster’s Union through McGuire Home.
