Mrs. Ann Konyak, 95, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 in the Franciscan Manor. Ann was born on January 4, 1922 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Theresa Palakovic Gretch. She had graduated from Lincoln High School and Nursing School. Ann worked as a Supervising Nurse in the OB department at the Ellwood City Hospital for over 40 years. James R. Yost, 74, of New Beaver Boro passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. Born May 11, 1943 in Racine, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Janice E. Buckley Yost. He was married to Janet R. Nicely Yost for 51 years. Jim was a lifelong farmer, owning and operating Yost Farms. He received numerous awards for his agricultural excellence, including the Eastern United States Master Farmers Award. Clinton “Peanuts” Marshall, 91 died at his residence on Friday, August 4, 2017. Born January 4, 1926, in Harmony “Shingle Hollow,” to the late Joseph and Elsie Myers Marshall. He was married for 52 years to Jean Brenneman Marshall who passed away February 4, 1999. Peanuts worked as an inspector at B&W from 1948 until his retirement in 1981. He was an active member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Saxon Club for many years and a former member of the Keenagers. Wayne R. Read, 70, of  New Castle (Wayne Township), went to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 6 2017. He was born in Clearfield PA,  on July 31, 1947 to the late  Richard  and  Lois Johnston  Read. Wayne graduated from Clearfield High School in Clearfield, PA in 1965. He  retired from General Electric in Grove City, where he was a machinist. M. Charles Nye, 88, of Portersville PA, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday afternoon, August 2 2017 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler PA. He was born in Fombell, Beaver County, on April 6 1929 to the late Joseph Bert Nye and Florence Lena Weil Nye. Charles graduated from Muddy Creek High School in Portersville. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a corporal in the 47th Infantry Division, in Germany with the 28th Anti-Aircraft Battalion. He worked at Mooney Bros. Jacqueline Ann McKissick Bauder, died at her home at  Northview Estates in Ellwood City, on Monday July 31 2017.  She was  preceded in death in 1983 by her husband, Donald Ray Bauder, with whom she was married for 27 years; and by her parents, Burns William McKissick and Gertrude Lemery McKissick. Jacqueline was born on March 15 1935 and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953, and was an active  member of the reunion committee for her class.
