Helen E. Swogger, 83, of Swogger Lane, New Beaver Boro passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 following an extended illness. Born May 29, 1934 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Earl S. and Effie Clingerman Jay. She was married for 60 years to John Ralph Swogger who passed away June 29, 2012. Margaret L. Price, 87, formerly of Castlewood passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Avalon Nursing Center. A lifelong resident, Peg was born May 9, 1930 on Harmony Baptist Rd in Castlewood, the daughter of the late Robert and Lula Lutz Newton. She was married for 69 years to Keith E. Price as they were married June 19, 1948. He survives. Peg graduated from Shenango High School in 1948. She was an active member of the Center United Presbyterian Church. Frederick P. Curry, 82, of New Beaver Boro passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a short illness. A lifelong resident, Fred was born September 12, 1935 in Wampum to the late William and Ellen Wardman Curry. He was married for 60 years to Martha Rorabaugh Curry who survives.
