Albert J. Amadio, 85, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 in the Ellwood City Hospital Emergency Room. Amadio was born on Dec. 5, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late Nazzareno and Susan Orsini Amadio. He is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and had served as an usher for many years at the church. He had worked at the Ellwood City Tube Mill for several years, and then at the Aetna Standard Engineering Co., where he retired from in 1986 with 34 years of service. Cathy D. Bingle, 59, of Lutz St., Fombell passed away unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital. Born Oct. 12, 1956 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Martha McKeough Fischer. Cathy was married for 40 years to Stan Bingle who survives. Cathy graduated from Riverside High School in 1975. She worked in various positions at the Ellwood City Hospital for 38 years. Cathy was a member of the Riverview Country Community Church in Ellwood. Andrew J. Aniceti, Sr., 92, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 in the Wexford House. Andy was born on June 9, 1923 in New Castle to the late Giovanni and Camille Peltier Aniceti. At the age of 13, Andy joined the Civilian Conservation Corps, a New Deal program that allowed teenagers to work on public related projects. For the next five years he worked on building cabins near the present day location of Seven Springs. Lillie D’Ambrosio Bernabe, 92, of New Castle passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 in the Jameson Memorial Hospital. Lillie was born on June 1, 1923 in Ellwood City to the late Frank and Lizana Innocent D’Ambrosio, Sr. She had worked as a manager for the Cozy Inn in New Castle for several years, and later as a cook for the former St. Joseph the Worker Assisted Living Home. Alberta Patrizio Wegner, 87, formerly of Ellwood City passed away peacefully following a short illness on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. Alberta was born on June 3, 1928 to the late Stephen and Anna Kulikowski Gumienny in Ellwood City. She was married to Neblo Anthony Patrizio for 45 years. They raised their family in Ellwood City and were active in church, school and community events. Members of Pine Hill Pioneer Campers, they enjoyed cross country travel and camping. Mary B. Verdecchia, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 in the Ellwood City Hospital. Mary was born on June 7, 1927 in Ellwood City to the late Charles A. and Rose Marie Lasso Carone. She had worked for 30 years at Johnny’s Pizza Shop as a cook. Patsy J. Vendetti, 65, of Ellwood City, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016. He was born in Ellwood City to the late John Venditti and Rose Venditti of Ellwood City. He was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. George Walter Martin, 92, of Enon Valley (Little Beaver Twp.) passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at Heritage Valley – Beaver Hospital. A lifelong resident of Little Beaver Twp., George was born June 6, 1923 to the late Alfred A. and Hilda M. Keebler Martin. He was married for 69 years to Leita Raney Martin as they were married Aug. 15, 1946. She survives.
