Veronica B. Corwin, 69, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 in the Manor Care Health Services in Monroeville. Mrs. Corwin was born on April 15, 1947 to the late Thomas V. and Mary Pearl Charon Corcoran. She had been an active member and volunteer with the former St. Agatha Catholic Church, and presently with the Holy Redeemer Parish. Veronica volunteered with the church Bazaar, and taught Bible School and CCD classes. She also enjoyed sewing and painting. Harry James Cooper Jr., 54, of Crescent Place, Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2016. Born Dec. 28, 1961 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Harry James Cooper Sr. and Carol Jean Lutz Cooper of Ellwood City . Bonnie Lumley, 68, of Perry Township passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in the ER of the Ellwood City Hospital. Born on Dec. 9, 1947 in Grove City, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mona Ferguson Bollinger. She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Lumley whom she married on July 7, 1967. June C. King, 61, of Wampum Ave., Ellwood City passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness. Born June 7, 1955 in Sharon, she was the daughter of the late Roy Samuel Canterbury and Nora Bell Kitson Canterbury of Beaver. Mr. Smith was born on August 19, 1954 in New Brighton to the late Carl L. and Anna Marie Angeley Smith. He is a member of the New Brighton High School class of 1972. Kevin “Scott” Brown, 57, of Franklin Twp. died Monday, July 11, 2016. He passed at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by the presence and words of his entire family. He stubbornly fought a battle with cancer for 4 1/2 years, appearing superhuman these past six months.   Verna A. Stuart, 77, of New Castle, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday evening, July 6 2016 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband , Wes C. Stuart, who died 27 years ago. She is survived by one son and three daughters: Wes (and Pamela) Stuart, Jr. of West Pittsburg PA; and Lori (and Ken) Aller, of New Castle; and Stacy (and Daymon) Attisano, and Christine (and Michael) Collins, all of Portersville.
