Fannie R. Powell, 99, formerly of Beaver St. Wampum passed away at the home of her daughter in Mentor, Ohio onTuesday, November 1, 2016 following a short illness. Born April 26, 1917 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Katherine Golino DeMaio. She was married for 52 to Andrew J. “Hump” Powell who passed away April 30, 2000. Fannie graduated from Wampum HIgh School. She was a lifelong member of the former St. Monica Church in Wampum. Survivors include a son, John J. Stanley Bingle, 62, of Lutz St. Fombell passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the residence of his daughter. Born August 17, 1954 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Charles Ross Bingle and Ethel Mae Rogan Bingle McAnallen. He was married for 40 years to Cathy D. Fischer Bingle who passed away February 12, 2016. Stan had formerly worked at G.A. Industries in Cranberry. A Veteran of the US AirForce, Stan was responsible for the maintenance of the aircrafts. Gerald E. Hairhoger Sr., 96, of Wampum New Galilee Rd., New Beaver Boro passed away surrounded by his loving family Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his residence following a short illness. A lifelong resident of New Beaver Boro, Gerald was born April 8, 1920 to the late David “Pup” and Hannah Hilton Hairhoger. George W. Lesnett, 90, of West Park Road, Portersville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28 2016 at the Butler VNA Hospice in Butler. He was born near  New Castle   on October 6 1926 to the late  William Lesnett and the late Jane Lesnett Kellam.  He was raised by his stepfather, the late Harry Kellam. Born November 27, 1959 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Ronald O’Brien who passed away in 2015 and Susan Butler O’Brien of Beaver Falls . Born August 6, 1932 in Allegheny County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine VanTine Baird. He was married for 62 years to Donna Mae McCaslin Baird as they were married June 11, 1953. Mr. Wilfred O. Greco, 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Grove in Harmony.Mr. Greco was born on July 8, 1931 in New Brighton to the late Domenic and Eleanor Greco. Wilfred had worked for the U.S. Steel Mill in Chicago as a foreman for many years. After returning to Ellwood City he worked at the Giant Eagle in Franklin Twp. as a bagger for several years.
