Agnes M. Lapinsky, 101, formerly of  Princeton  (Slippery Rock Twp.)  and Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, February 11,  2019 at Avalon Place in New Castle. Agnes was  born in Ellwood City  on  January  7, 1918  to the late August   and  Helen Wagner  Tetmeir. She was a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. Agnes worked at Curtis Wright Co. in Vanport, and later at Shenango Pottery and Johnson Bronze in New Castle. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lapinsky, who died January 23, 2007. Lois L Douglass, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 11, 2019. She is survived by the love of her life, C. Harold Douglass, whom she married 68 years ago on August 15, 1950. She was born on December 13, 1929, in Beaver Falls, PA, a daughter of John W. Steffen and Bessie Keeler Steffen. Mrs. Joann M. Hart, 83, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Hart was born on June 9, 1935 in Pittsburgh to the late Stephen and Cecelia (Schultheis) Uhrin. She along with her husband Michael where the co-owner/operator’s of Caveman Answering Service and Advertising while they lived in Grants Pass, Oregon. Gerald A. Chieze Sr., 82, of West Pittsburg passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Haven Nursing Home following a two year illness. Born October 8, 1936 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Evelyn V. Locke Chieze. He was married to Rosemarie Borzi Chieze for 57 years. She survives.
