Mrs. Mary G. Tirlia, 89, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Monday at the Avanti Senior Living in Shenandoah, Texas. Mrs. Tirlia was born on April 6, 1928 in Ellwood City to the late George and Orania Mazni Dan. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1946 and attended Geneva College. Mary was a member of the St. Elia’s Romanian Orthodox Church while living in Ellwood City. Mr. Frank L. Bellissimo, 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in the Ellwood City Hospital. Mr. Bellissimo was born on September 13, 1932 in Ellwood City to the late Bruno and Victoria DeCaria Bellissimo. Frank is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1952 and was a standout player on the high school football team. He attended and played football at Geneva College for 2 years. Mary was born on March 27, 1924 in Ellwood City to the late Seratino and Josephine DiLeonardo Tribuzio. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Stephanie Jo Johnson, 32, of New Castle, formerly of Ellport, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 after a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Bertagna was born on May 17, 1942 in Ellwood City to the late Alfredo and Rose Strazze Bertagna.
