Nickolas Palagallo, 90, of New Beaver Boro passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born November 8, 1926 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Colao Palagallo. He was married for 65 years to his beloved wife, Phyllis Leopardo Palagallo who survives. Nick retired in 1988 after working for 42 years at Medusa Cement Company. He served in the Navy during WWII and was a member of the Wampum American Legion Post 749. Nick’s passion was baseball. Kimberly Ann Kozol, 55, of Edison Manor, New Castle passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her residence following a short illness. Born December 5, 1961 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Edna Jean Krepps Kozol. Kim graduated from St. Anthony’s School in Oakmont.
