Maudress “Maudie” Anna Boots, 85, formerly of Portersville passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Northview Estates. Born November 6, 1932 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kennedy Frazier. Maudie worked at the Butler Hospital for 20 years in the Anesthesia Department. She was an active and devoted member of the First Church of God where she served as their treasurer for many years. Maudie cherished time spent with her family. Family and Church were her life. Codie Renee Lovitt, nee Gasser, 35, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 following neurological complications ultimately causing heart failure. Codie was born June 10, 1982 at the Beaver Valley Medical Center, the daughter of Charlene Sypolt and the late William Ray Gasser, Jr. She attended Beaver Falls Area Schools and Blackhawk Schools graduating in 2000 and also graduated from Everest University with a degree in criminal justice.
