Maudress “Maudie” Anna Boots, 85, formerly of Portersville passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Northview Estates. Born November 6, 1932 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kennedy Frazier. Maudie worked at the Butler Hospital for 20 years in the Anesthesia Department. She was an active and devoted member of the First Church of God where she served as their treasurer for many years. Maudie cherished time spent with her family. Family and Church were her life. Carl W. Bender, Jr., 88, of Neshannock Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Avalon Nursing Center. He was born November 18, 1929 to the late Carl W. Bender, Sr. and Olive Brisbin Bender. Carl was a 1947 graduate of New Castle High School and graduated from Youngstown University  in 1955. He was  the owner of C. Robert E. Campbell, 85 of Harmony-Fisher Ave., Ellwood City passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 5:35 PM. Born in Ellwood City on February 16, 1932 Robert was the son of the late Erwin and Delilah Newton Campbell.  He is survived by his wife, the former Sara McLaughlin whom he married on May 17, 1952. Mrs. Ungham was born on June 6, 1919 in Ellwood City to the late Zack and Elizabeth Cristea Brandes, Sr..
