Frank Pitelka, 89, of Hazel Ave., Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Ellwood City Hospital. He was born May 9, 1928 in Apatin, Yugoslavia to the late Mathias and Elisabeth Hauk Pitelka.  Frank graduated from high school in Apatin in 1944. On September 11, 1948, he married Frieda Theresia Viola in Ried im Inkreis in Austria. They emigrated to the United States in December 1951 and moved to Ellwood City in May of 1952 when he started employment at the Aetna Standard, where he worked until his retirement in 1986. Mrs. Grace R. Jance, 93, of Perry Twp. passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Jance was born in Pittsburgh on September 4, 1924 to the late Ralph S. and Mary Ann Neurour Ford. She had graduated from the Westview High School with the class of 1942. Edward J. Hozick, 53, of Snake Run Rd., Chewton passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at his residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Wayne S. McAnlis, 93, of New Galilee passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Golden Hill Nursing Center in New Castle following an extended illness. Born August 29, 1924 in New Galilee, he was the son of the late William S. and Mae Jenkins McAnlis. He was married for 67 years to Lois Vance McAnlis who survives. Wayne graduated from Mt.
