Laura M. Stoyanoff, 58, of Ellport passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Ellwood City Medical Center. Laura was born on June 21, 1960 in Ellwood City to James and Octavia (Conforti) Stoyanoff. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1978, and attended Clarion University where she studied Theater. Laura worked in the restaurant hospitality field for several years, and later as a Certified Nursing Assistant at various facilities in the Ellwood City Area. Catherine B. McLaughlin, 66, of Portersville Rd., Ellwood City (Perry Twp.) passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 8, 1952 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Evelyn Bevington Davis. She was married to Martin D. McLaughlin for 43 years. He survives. Cathy graduated from New Brighton High School and Indiana University of PA. She worked for Carl W. Herrmann Furs in Pittsburgh for 20 years. Rudy Vetica, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice. Mr. Vetica was born on December 25, 1927 to the late Querino and Pasqualina (Condi) Vetica.
