Ronald C. Burry, 67, of Franklin Township, a prominent Beaver County Dairy Farmer, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at UPMC McCandless following a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 10, 1957, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late William “Cy” E. and Adelaide I. (Sternquist) Burry. He married Diane L. (McConahy) Burry on October 22, 1976. Ron, a 1976 Riverside graduate, was very passionate about farming and loved working on his dairy farm with his family. Born April 22, 1973 in Orlando, FL, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ann Belanger Dempsey. She married Edward Christley on June 20, 2009. Born in Ellwood City, PA. on March 9, 1931. As early as 9 years, after the death of his mother, he worked in his families’ grocery stores. In 1949, he married his childhood sweetheart, Rosemary. He realized a dream in 1951 upon acceptance into dental school. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in 1955 and earned a commission with the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander.
