Nora was born on March 30, 1934 in Shippingport, PA to the late J.T. and Rhoda Kitson. In her younger days, Nora worked on the Carrol Berry Farm in North Sewickley Twp.. Helen McElwain, beloved wife of the late Harold L. McElwain passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Helen was born on June 14, 1921 in Philadelphia, the daughter of Francis J. and Gertrude Cahill Cavanaugh. Helen and Harold met while he was stationed in Philadelphia during WWII. Nancy L. Pasquale, 79, of Ellport, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Born in Bellevue, PA on August 14, 1940, Nancy was the daughter of the late Raymond William and Margaret Louise Thewes Hunt.  She is survived by her husband, Albert Pasquale who she married on May 7, 1960.  Nancy had worked at the Ellwood City Hospital in the Housekeeping Department.  She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish, its Christian Mothers and Legion of Mary.  Nancy enjoyed playing bingo but mostly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret “Peggy” Anne Karner of Wampum passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Born September 23, 1933 to John and Margaret Karner, she lived most of her life in Wampum, residing most recently at Carriage Manor in New Castle. Peggy attended Wampum High School where she enjoyed playing the clarinet in the band. Michael C. Ingram, 71, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his residence. Born July 17, 1948 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth Ryhal Ingram. Phillip G. Hoak of Franklin Township, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 following a motor vehicle accident. Phillip was born on August 26, 1986 in New Castle to Sherri Hoak and Kevin McCormack. He attended Riverside High School. Following high school Philip enlisted into the United States Army on August 23, 2011 and was discharged October 20, 2015.
