Mrs. Rose Marie DeGennaro, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Mrs. DeGennaro was born in Beaver Falls on July 2, 1933 to the late Carmello “Carl” and Lena (Pompanella) Rocco. She had attended the St. Mary’s Catholic School in Beaver Falls. Rose is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. A home maker, Rose enjoyed cooking and baking. Lt. Jack Arthur Maine, Sr., 78, of Ellport, Ellwood City Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2021 with his devoted wife and family by his side. The second of four sons, Lt. Maine was born September 2, 1943, at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Army Base in Havre De Grace, Maryland to Emmett T. and Alice Kerr Maine. Lt. Sandra Kay Engleman, 79 of Ellport died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Sandy was born in Beaver Falls and resided in the Koppel, Wampum and Ellwood City areas her entire life.  Working for Ellwood Transit, Sandy was a devoted and loving bus driver, transporting over 3 generations of children to the Ellwood City Schools and was loved by all.  She was also an accomplished florist, creating beautiful floral designs for family members and many weddings. Scala, 87 of Harrisburg, PA, formally of Ellwood City, PA passed away peacefully, at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital surrounded by his family on September 16, 2021, after an unexpected battle with cancer. Tony was born in Ellwood City, PA, to the late Frederick and Felicia (Fabian) Scala. He graduated from Lincoln High School and attended the Police Academy in Hershey, PA.
